About DealRun

A better outcome starts with better intelligence.

We combine senior investment bankers with technology built to analyse thousands of buyers, transactions and market signals, giving your business the attention, reach and negotiating power usually reserved for much larger companies.

01

We find the buyers others miss

Most advisers rely on existing relationships. We use proprietary data and technology to identify strategic buyers, investors and international acquirers who have a reason to pay more for your business.

02

Senior advisers, fully focused on you

Your deal is led by experienced M&A professionals who know how to position your business, create competition and negotiate the strongest possible terms.

03

Technology does the heavy lifting

Our systems continuously analyse markets, companies and transactions, giving our advisers deeper insight and allowing them to move faster without sacrificing quality.

04

More competition. Better offers.

We create a structured process where qualified buyers compete for your business, helping maximise value while keeping you in control.

The process used by large companies, now available to ambitious businesses of your size.

SENIOR-LED THROUGHOUTONE MANDATE AT A TIME

01. Buyer graph

Type a company name. Read who would buy it.

The graph is built from cleaned UK company data: trade acquirers in the same sector, private equity platforms already buying in it, and roll-ups consolidating it. Searching tells nobody anything — the buyers below have not been contacted, and never are until an owner reads the list and vetoes it line by line.

Sample output, drawn from our own company data. Real buyer lists are built per mandate and shown to the owner in full — every name, before a single approach.

02. Valuation report

A range, the comparables behind it, and a company card by email.

Give us the numbers and we send back an indicative range with the deals it is drawn from, plus the buyer map for your sector. If we think you should wait a year, or that you sit below or above our band, we say so on the first call — not in month nine.

Your numbers are used for your mandate and nothing else. Never used to train a model, never posted to a listing site, never passed to a buyer before you release your name.

Nothing here commits you to anything. Listing on the site only happens after a signed engagement letter, and only if you ask for it.

Roughly three hours of your week while the process runs. You are still running the business.

Request a valuation

We reply within two working days. If we are not the right firm for you, that is what the reply will say.

The process

Every buyer approached at once, to one shared deadline.

Offers arrive together, in writing, so you can read them side by side instead of being walked through them one at a time. The live deal report is open to you any day: every buyer approached, the date, and what they said back.

01

Indicative range

A number, and the comparables it comes from.

02

Buyer map

You read every name and cross out the ones you refuse.

03

Blind profile

Your business described so nobody can identify it.

04

NDA

Signed by each buyer before your name is released.

05

Information memorandum

The full story, written in plain English.

06

Data room

Opened buyer by buyer, on your say-so. No charge.

07

Written offers

All to one deadline, read side by side.

08

Heads of terms

The offer you pick, in writing, before lawyers.

09

Diligence

Where most of the four months goes.

10

Completion

Money lands. Our fee is payable then, not before.

03. For acquirers

Deal flow, and a database of owners who want to be found.

Tell us what you buy and we send only what fits. Some owners do not want us running their sale but still want to sell — with their permission, their company data, a valuation from public information, and their contact details sit in the roll-up database.

Deal flow subscription

Mandated sales, sent only to acquirers whose brief fits. Anonymous profile first: sector, region, size, shape of the earnings. The company's name follows once you have signed an NDA and the owner has said yes to you specifically.

Anonymous profiles matched to your brief

INCLUDED

Named introduction after NDA and owner consent

PER DEAL

One shared deadline, offers in writing

ALWAYS

Every buyer on a mandate is approached at the same time. There is no early look and no queue to pay your way up.

Register your buying brief

Sectors you buy in

We check who you are before anything is sent. Owners are told which kinds of buyer see their profile.

The fee

Success only. Agreed on the first call.

2–5% of what you actually receive, fixed for the mandate. No retainer, no listing fee, no data-room charge, and nothing owed if you stop.

The contract

Thirty days' notice, no exit fee.

One tail only: a completion within twelve months with a buyer from the disclosed, approached list. Nothing to get out of that you cannot get out of in writing.

Who we are for

UK companies, £4m–£40m of revenue.

Below that, a competitive process costs more than it adds and we will point you to a good local broker. Above it, you want a firm with a full analyst bench. We will tell you which on the first call.
